The origin of a legacy. Given away exclusively at the inaugural Pacific Bitcoin Conference in 2022, these were the first commemorative packs we ever produced. Because the project was brand new, many of these packs were lost in goodie bags, misplaced, or discarded by attendees who didn't realize what they held. Today, this attrition has made them the single most sought-after packs we have ever created. Featuring Cards #1 and #2 of the entire Bitcoin Trading Card ecosystem (released alongside Series 1), these packs are truegrails of the hobby.

The stuff of trading card legend. Originally slated for a 2,121-pack release to celebrate the Pacific Bitcoin 2023 basketball tournaments — marking our first and only sports-themed set — this release met an unexpected fate. A major printing error reversed the foil layers, leaving the chase cards almost entirely stripped of their holographic effect. Unwilling to compromise our strict quality standards, we refused to sell the defective product to the public. In a testament to principles over profits, we took a massive financial loss and burned the vast majority of the inventory in a livestreamed community bonfire. Today, only an estimated 200 surviving packs remain in existence, making this error set a highly coveted and mythic piece of Based history.

An epic week of exclusive drops. In July 2024, we attended three massive events across three days in Nashville, Tennessee, releasing a unique set of commemorative single cards. Each card was sealed in a clear wrapper and exclusively gifted as a promo to supporters at the events; none were ever sold natively.

The main Bitcoin 2024 Nashville conference featured the release of the "MusicCity 2024" card and the "Nashville 2024" card. Notably, the Nashville 2024 card experienced a CMYK printing error, resulting in a rare Green Parallel — the printer stopped midway, producing only 246 of these green errors (though they still bear the /500 stamp on the back). We also released The Liberator (/500) for the Thank God for Bitcoin conference, a massive Dirty Coin collaboration (/500) to celebrate the release of the Bitcoin mining documentary, and a highly exclusive Pleb Party card limited to just 121 copies.

The dawn of a new era. Released at the 2025 Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, this extremely special release features a highly exclusive, single-card drop of only /100. Designed to celebrate the coming together of like-minded people, this release highlights incredible artwork of the Bitcoin Vegas Whale by Based Artist Genjos. Only 100 of these base cards were produced and exclusively gifted to Based supporters at the conference as a promotional reward. These base cards were never sold natively on our site, instantly cementing their status as a rare piece of Bitcoin conference history. A parallel version of the card limited to 3 was also created for this drop.
