These Genesis packs are great. I give them away to anyone that purchases something from me or anyone that I make a trade with. I even give them out on Halloween. This is the only company in the trading card hobby that is transparent with showing the odds and the hit list of their packs, boxes and cases. The Spirit of Satoshi collaborative set captures the Matrix theme and brings it to life in a physical trading card set! As a big fan of the Matrix, this set immediately captured my attention. It combines the Matrix theme with Bitcoin lore, Bitcoin influencers, and artists. It's a cool concept that is made better by it's limited print run which keeps it scarce which is important to me as a collector.
As my first box from BTCTC, I eased in with a Spirit of Satoshi box and thought these are really high quality cards! They have three rarities (base, holofoil, and chase) and each one is beautiful.

What do I get if I don't pull the Golden Key?
Premium Golden Key chase cards you can only find in the golden key packs. Chase the many hits from /150s to 1/1s and a chance to pull one of the two first ever Satoshi’s heroes (No Parallel) 1/1s worldwide and carry real secondary market value. A 1/1 printing plate plus so many more LE handcrafted collectibles. The box is worth collecting regardless of the sweepstakes.
What's physically inside the box?
A Series 4 Hobby box, a Golden Key pack (1 per 420 boxes globally), an experience handbook, 1/1 printing plate, binder, Based Car figurine, deck boxes, LE holographic poster, scissors, Golden Key medallion, card maps. Every item is handcrafted and limited to 420 — the Rolex of trading cards.
Do I need to buy a box to enter?
No. US residents can enter for free by mailing a 3x5 card with their name, address, phone number, date of birth, and email to: ASC/BTC Request, 300 State St. Ste 402, Rochester, NY 14614. One entry per envelope. Full details in the official Terms & Conditions.
How do I pay with Bitcoin or USDC?
Select Bitcoin or USDC at checkout. Payment is processed directly — no third-party conversion, no extra fees. Shop Pay installments are also available if you prefer 4 payments of $845.15 CAD at 0% interest.
Are Satoshi Hero Cards worth anything on their own?
Yes. Only 2 exist worldwide — one Heroes, one Villain. They're the foundation cards for Based Trading Cards' mainstream expansion and carry significant independent secondary market value. Pulling one is a win on its own terms.
Is worldwide shipping available?
Yes, the box ships worldwide. However, the Golden Key sweepstakes are open to US residents only. International customers are welcome to purchase and collect the cards — but are not eligible to claim the Grand Prize.
When does this end?
The Golden Key must be claimed by November 1, 2026. After that the prize goes unawarded permanently.
Are there any extra costs if I win the car?
Yes, and it's worth knowing upfront. You're responsible for title, license, registration, insurance, taxes, and any travel to collect the vehicle. The prize value is also taxable income — you'll receive an IRS 1099 form. If you'd rather avoid that complexity, the $45,000 cash or Bitcoin option exists.
How Do I Complete My Bitcoin Payment?
